Return and Shipping Policy

At Uncommon Seat we strive to help our customers receive their one-of-a-kind pieces in thecondition in which they left our showroom.

Uncommon Seat is not affiliated with any shipping companies or independent shippers. We willrequest shipping quotes for our clients, as a service, but this does not imply our liability for theshipment. We are happy to assist you in resolving any shipping issues. However, please keep inmind we cannot be held liable or responsible for any items once they have left our showroom.

Once the purchase is completed, we will work with the client to secure the appropriate shipping method.  Depending on shipping criteria, shipping and receiving dates can vary widely but we will do our best to get your purchases to you in a timely fashion.  Clients are welcome to make arrangements with their own shippers, in doing so we encourage our customers to insure their purchases for full value. Insurance is not always included. In the event that an item is damaged during shipping, the buyer will need to file an insurance claim with the shipper’s insurance company immediately. In most cases, the shipper, or their insurance company, will give you the option of having the item repaired or insured value refunded. Because of the custom nature of our products, repair would not be an option if the damage is to the rugs or fabrics used while creating the seating piece.

Please choose to receive the insured value of your purchase.Refunds for damaged items must come from the shipper or the shipper’s insurance company.

Uncommon Seat shall not be held liable for refunds due to damage during shipping. In the event you receive an item that is damaged, please take good detail pictures and keep all packing materials. This will ensure a speedy claims process.


REFUNDS AND/OR RETURNS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED DUE TO DELAYED
DELIVERY FROM A THIRD- PARTY SHIPPER. IN ADDITION, RETURNS/REFUNDS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED DUE TO DAMAGE INCURRED WHILE IN POSSESSION OF A THIRD- PARTY SHIPPER. RETURNS


ALL SALES ARE FINAL.


Our pieces are custom and one of a kind. No two will be alike. Due to the custom nature of our furniture, all sales are final. Please make your purchases carefully. Measure your space twice. We are happy to send extra photos, etc. of our pieces to ensure that our customers are satisfied with their purchases.  

Uncommon Seat reserves the right to consider refunds and/or exchanges and shall be subject to the following terms:


A. Items must be received back in SAME condition as when purchased and within 30 days of sale.

B. Returns for refund shall incur a 20% restocking fee, or items may be returned in exchange for store credit. Store credits shall be applied to list prices only and must be used within 60 days.
